No, normal museum entry does not include additional charges. However, some events throughout the year may require an additional fee, which will be clearly advertised on our website.
No, you can also display your e-ticket to a member of staff at our Welcome Desk using your smartphone / tablet.
Your ticket will be issued via email as an e-ticket. You can either print this out and bring it with you, or display your e-ticket to a member of staff using your smartphone / tablet. If you lose your e-ticket, our staff will be able to search for you using the details you provided on purchase. This can be name, email address, post code etc.
You can contact us either via email or a phone call. If you have brought an annual ticket, you can use this for the next year so there is no need to rearrange you can simply book online for the date you want to come.

Your ticket is valid for one visit or 100! As a charity, a ticket which is valid for 12 months allows us to treat your purchase as a donation.
Unfortunately not. Our tickets are non-transferable, and family tickets are intended for families only.
No. All tickets are non-transferable, including children's tickets. This is why we ask for your personal details when you purchase and may ask to see ID on return visits. If you are unable to provide matching ID, we reserve the right to refuse entry.
Milestones is part of Hampshire Cultural Trust, which is a charity. With your help, we’re able to benefit from the UK government’s Gift Aid scheme. By purchasing your ticket and choosing to Gift Aid your purchase, you allow us to treat your ticket price as a donation. Your ticket is valid for 12 months from the date of your first visit. When your ticket expires, you will need to purchase a new one either online or at the museum. Your ticket will not renew automatically.
Yes, we offer 50% off for Art Fund members and National Art Pass holders . Museum Association members are entitled to free entry to Milestones Museum. Full details at the bottom of this page. Tickets can be purchased at the venue only and cannot be pre-purchased online. Please bring proof of current membership with you when you visit.

We are on Basingstoke Leisure Park and our postcode is RG22 6PG. Milestones Museum has both ample free parking and a broad range of public transport connections, find out more here.
We are open Tuesday - Sunday 10:00 – 16:45. Our café closes at 16:00. Last admission is 16:00.
Yes, we have ample free parking at the venue, the car park in front of the building is sometimes full or reserved for blue badge only (during large events), in this situation you may use any of the car parks across Basingstoke Leisure Park and follow pedestrian signage to the venue.
Our time slots are only strict on the busy days - you can arrive any time after your time slot but not before.
You are required to bring proof of identification such as passport, driving licence, credit or debit card every time you visit the museum while your ticket is valid. Under 18s are not required to bring ID for entry to the museum.
Pets are not allowed in the museum. Assistance and guide dogs are welcome, as long as they are clearly identifiable.
There are no charging points at the venue. The closest charging points are at Morrisons Basingstoke (RG21 8BJ) , which is 0.2miles away.
You do not need to leave at a set time, we recommend allowing 2-3 hours for a visit. But you may stay as long as you please. We close at 16:45.
No, we do have coat racks that are unsupervised and can only be used when we do not have school groups, however, there isn't anywhere to leave luggage.

Milestones' Rooftops Café has a variety of hot and cold food and is open daily 10pm - 4pm Hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks are available from our Vintage Tea Tent, open on weekends and during school holidays. At Milestones, we aim to be as accessible as possible to everyone. We are fully accessible and SEN friendly - please take caution when exploring the museum as some areas in the museum have cobbled floors and curb sides, reflecting the terrain of a real, historic high-street. If the ticket holder has proof of their needs, we normally don’t need proof for the carer, if we do ask, normally this is a carers allowance/ PIP letter or carers card.
