This Halloween, Jekyll & Co. invites you to Milestones Museum for a most extraordinary celebration of Victorian science. Meet eccentric scientists, encounter peculiar townsfolk, mad science displays and discover what happens when the pursuit of scientific greatness goes just a little too far.
Four scientists are competing for a prestigious apprenticeship with the elusive Dr Jekyll. Explore their science, hear different points of view and watch closely as the Hyde influence brings out the worst in familiar faces.

Something strange is happening at Milestones
Jekyll & Hyde Co. has brought a spectacular Science Fair to town. Four brilliant scientists are competing for an amazing prize: the chance to work with the famous Dr Jekyll.
There's just one problem. Dr Jekyll's mysterious business partner, Mr Hyde, seems to be bringing out the worst in everyone. A friendly scientist gets a little too excited. A charming salesman gets a little too pushy. And the townsfolk aren't quite themselves either.
This Halloween half term, it's up to your family to explore the fair, try the experiments and decide who deserves to win.
Just keep your eyes open.
Become a judge at the Strange Science Fair
How it works
- Collect your Scorecard. Every family gets one when they arrive. You’re now official judges.
- Explore at your own pace. There’s no set route. Find each scientist, try their experiments and see what they can do.
- Catch a live science show. Spectacular demonstrations take place on the bandstand every 90 minutes.
- Talk to the townsfolk. The apothecary, the rat catcher and the town medium all have their own opinions about these scientists.
- Watch for the Hyde influence. Characters may suddenly take a familiar quality too far before returning to themselves.
- Cast your vote. Score each scientist and hand in your Scorecard. There are no right or wrong answers. It’s your decision.

Expect eccentric characters, gruesome curiosities, mischievous humour and the occasional unsettling surprise. This is a playful family Halloween experience, not a horror attraction.
Entry to the Science Fair, a Science Fair Scorecard, character-led encounters, opportunities to explore and investigate, and the chance to cast your vote for the scientist you think deserves the apprenticeship.
The experience also includes large-scale displays showcasing the work, products and peculiar world of Jekyll & Co.
There is no fixed route or timed performance. Enjoy the encounters and discoveries you find along the way. Allow approximately two hours to explore the Science Fair.
You can choose which scientist to visit first, spend longer in your favourite areas and discover characters, demonstrations and activities as you explore. Every visit will be different as you explore the different experiments and as each of the characters descend into madness!
